Phrases, a tooth and Christmas, OH MY!!

Howdy and good morning! I know its early but Danica just went down for a nap in her swing BY HERSELF for the first time in about 3 weeks! She apparently went through a "cuddle me during my nap" phase! Don't get me wrong, I LOVED IT, but I do want her to have some independence! So much has been going on since I last blogged, let's see where to start.... Well, last week Eric started another job! He is still getting his regular hours at Discount Tire BUT LaRoche dealership really wants him, but since they can't match his current pay, they hired him at $2 less at part-time. Basically, whenever he is not scheduled at Discount, he goes over there! He is getting real-time training on body work and everything that goes along with that, which is awesome because that's what he went to school to do! He loves it, which is good, but he's gone from 7:30-6:30 PM Monday through Friday. The things he does for us! Also, in the past week and a half Danica has picked up a couple new phrases! Yes, PHRASES! I know, she's only 8 months! She will say "Thank You" but it sounds like "Tha' To" and "Get Down!" but that sounds like "Gee Dow!" She also say "Ma Ma" and "Da Da" and those are pretty amazing too!! We couldn't believe it when she said those two phrases, but surely enough, she continues to say them! She also has a tooth break through on Saturday, we are SO PROUD of her! I know, it's a normal thing to do, but it's her FIRST TOOTH!!!! She is kind of cranky because of it, but other than that, she is her happy normal self! We are starting to gear up for the Christmas season, thinking about presents for all the kiddos and how exciting it will be to watch Danica enjoy her first Christmas! She LOVES the organ music at church and music in general so I'm pretty sure she'll love Christmas songs! Also, she LOVES to rip paper so she'll have NO problem with presents! Life is so amazing and I'm so thankful that we have this little blessing in our lives. Danica continues to amaze us every day and we thank God for her health! Well, that's going to wrap up this post, until next time!!
